Vintage late 50 s early 1960 s framed Picasso art print for your bidding consideration. This print depicts an abstract outline of a dove of peace holding an olive branch, I believe, in its beak. Around the dove is an abstract interpretation of a group of people holding olive branches and hands in a circle.
Print is professionally framed with textured matt under glass. The frame is made with a shiny goldtone brushed aluminum metal in a shadow box style. It has metal screws and thick pressed board on the back of frame and it is quite heavy for its size. The back of the board has a label that reads, This is a Turner Wall Accessory, Item 2511 subject and category J685 LA Ronde, inspected for quality by # 25112 identity.
The print (the area that can be seen) measures 9 1/2 X 7 1/2 . The entire frame measures 15 1/4 X 13 1/4 and is 1 1/2 deep.
Picasso Print and metal frame are in lovely condition, without issues to report. The only issue to report is the matted textured area that surrounds the print, it has age spots, which only authenticates its very old age and does not distract from the beauty of the print and frame. This matted area may be replaced, but I think the original looks great and compliments the age of this piece. Please disregard any white or marks on glass and frame area, these are from the flash and are not on the print or on the frame.
